Welcome
to Karrawingi Park!
Looking for
somewhere special to hold your garden wedding? Why not come
and inspect Karrawingi Park, situated right in the heart of
the beautiful Mornington
Peninsula. Nine acres of picturesque garden and parkland, Karrawingi
Park is a pleasing mix of both formal and informal settings
with a relaxed ambience your guest will love.
A description widely used by visitors is tranquil. Once the ceremony
is over, guests are welcome to wander through the park or enjoy
a cool drink under the shade offered by the many mature trees.
There is no
time limit as weddings are restricted to one per day and there
is not the pressure of having to make way for the next group.
If you are just looking to have your photographs taken in the
garden,
this can also be arranged.
A series
of different themes, linked by rolling lawns and trees, Karrawingi
Park includes a cottage garden, a formal rose garden, a settlers
hut in a bush landscape, a small rainforest leading to a bush
walk ending at an agapanthus lined silver birch avenue culminating
at a jetty, pavilion and large lake.
These are
but a few of the features Karrawingi Park Has to offer. It
has to be seen to appreciate what a wide choice of settings
you have from which to choose. Inspection is invited free of
obligation and can be arranged at any time by phone or email.
Your hosts,
Aileen and Doug Clay will do everything in their power to make
your day a special one. Seating is available, free of charge
and any reasonable request will be fulfilled where possible.
Although
we don't hold receptions at the park, many places within a
close proximity do.
2005 prices
are:

Photographs only $100
A small charge may be required if any extra service is requested
